ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Opening Day 2009 may be set for Feb. 20, but UCF baseball players will be getting into full uniform a little early. The Knights are set to don their Black and Gold colors starting on Tuesday, Feb. 3, when they take to the sidewalks on campus to handout schedule cards.
The student-athletes will be making appearances nine separate days from Feb. 3 to Feb. 18 as they prepare for the season opener at home vs. Virginia Commonwealth. Their first full team practice will be this Sunday at 1 p.m.
Here is a rundown of where to expect your Knights on campus, as there will be either two or three players at each location:
