ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF women's basketball game at Houston on Sunday, Jan. 25 at 3 p.m. eastern time will be televised by CBS College Sports Network, with the coverage also being broadcast locally on Bright House Sports Network.
CBS College Sports Network is channel 106 on Bright House Networks in the Orlando area, as well as channel 613 on DirecTV and channel 152 on Dish Network/Echostar.
Bright House Sports Network is a 24-hour local sports network available in central Florida on Bright House Networks digital cable channel 47.
Greg Lucas will serve as the play-by-play announcer for the contest while Lisa Malosky will handle the color analyst duties.
The game marks the first of four Knights' games to be televised live in 2008-09 with the three remaining contests being at home. Bright House Sports Network will produce and broadcast both UCF's game with SMU on Feb. 7 as well as its home contest with UAB on Thursday, Feb. 26. The regular-season finale against UAB on Sunday, March 1, will be shown nationally on CBS College Sports and on Bright House in Orlando.
UCF is now 4-1 in Conference USA play after Thursday's 77-52 victory over Rice at UCF Arena. The Knights are in a five-way tie atop the league standings. Houston enters the game at 11-7 overall and 3-2 in C-USA action after falling at Southern Miss Thursday.
