Cannon helped the Knights improve to 3-0 in Conference USA play, averaging 24 points and 13 rebounds in two games. The sophomore had one of the best individual performances in the country this season when she totaled 34 points and 20 rebounds at Memphis. Cannon had a double-double by halftime with 16 points and 11 and did not let up after the break, adding another 18 points and nine rebounds in the second half. Overall, the sophomore hit 12-of-20 shots from the field and added a 10-for-13 performance from the line in setting career highs in both points and rebounds. She grabbed nine of her boards on the offensive end. She concluded the week with 14 points and six rebounds in a victory at UAB. On the year, Cannon is averaging 15.5 points and 10.3 rebounds while shooting 55.5 percent overall. The Knights will return to action Sunday at Southern Miss.
