ORLANDO, Fla. (www.UCFAthletics.com) - UCF Athletics has partnered with Rojo Research to perform a study on fan demographics, particularly focused on the Knights' donors and season ticket holders. To perform the online survey, participants are encouraged to log onto UCFAthletics.com and click on the link for the online survey. By filling out the survey, participants will be registered to win two (2) free season tickets to the upcoming 2009 UCF football campaign at Bright House Networks Stadium.
"It is critical that we continue to understand the needs and desires of the UCF Athletics fan base," said Keith Tribble, Executive Vice President and Director of Athletics at UCF. "So much has changed on the UCF campus the past few seasons with the opening of Bright House Networks Stadium and the UCF Arena that we are in a totally different operational situation than when most of our fans were in school. At this point in our planning for the seasons ahead, it is important that we survey the thoughts and opinions of our key stakeholders and establish a direction that meets the desires of our fan base."
Launched in September 2006, Rojo Research has quickly risen to one of the largest providers of audience research for NCAA member institutions. Through phone and web-based methodology, Rojo Research captures over 400 data points, including demographics, purchasing trends, shopping habits and local media consumption.
"Most of our projects focus on research to support corporate sponsorship revenue initiatives, but UCF - which may have developed the most comprehensive and proactive ticket marketing program in the NCAA - desires to better understand their fans and ticket purchasers to broaden their audience and ultimately increase sales," added John Herron, president of Rojo Research. "Such a project is a phenomenal opportunity for Rojo, and we're extremely grateful UCF contacted us to become a partner."
