Johnson led the Knights to the team title at The Hummingbird Intercollegiate in North Carolina. The senior finished second individually with a two-round total of 8-under 134 at the 14-team, two-round tournament. He concluded the event one shot behind tournament champion Hudson Johnson of Vanderbilt. The finish was the second top-10 showing of the year for UCF's Johnson. Johnson carded a 4-under 67 in both rounds at the tournament. He posted 10 birdies during the event. The team title was the first of the year for the Knights, who won two tournaments in 2007-08. The Hummingbird Intercollegiate served as the final tournament of the fall for UCF. The Knights are slated to open their spring season in mid-February, competing at the Gator Invitational in Gainesville.
