ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - After the Homecoming game on Saturday, the Knights will kickoff the 2008-09 men's basketball campaign with the inaugural UCF Postgame Madness. The free event at the UCF Arena will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the UCF-Southern Miss football game.
Postgame madness will provide fans with the opportunity to choose their season ticket seat location. Members of the UCF ticket sales staff will be on hand at the event, and fans should enter the arena through the front lobby.
Other highlights of UCF Postgame Madness include:
? The first chance to see the 2008-09 Knights as they scrimmage in front of the public for the first time
? An autograph session with the team following the scrimmage
? Fantastic giveaways, including free pizza and UCF Postgame Madness t-shirts
Led by one of the nation's premier players in senior guard Jermaine Taylor (Tavares, Fla.), the Knights are slated to play 16 regular-season contests at the UCF Arena in 2008-09. The team's season opener is set for Nov. 16 at home against North Carolina A&T.
