ST. THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands (AP) -- Rachel Allison scored 18 points to help No. 6 Baylor beat UCF 79-67 on Thursday in the Paradise Jam.
Danielle Wilson added 12 points and Jhasmin Player had 11 for the Bears (5-0).
Leading 24-20 with 6:54 left in the first half, Baylor went on a 20-7 run capped by Allison's three-point play a minute into the second half that gave the Bears a 44-27 advantage.
UCF would cut the deficit to 10 before Baylor put the game away with an 11-1 spurt.
Emma Cannon scored 17 points and Angelica Mealing added 15 for the Knights (1-3), who committed 22 turnovers.
Baylor will play Villanova on Friday.
