In a pair of road games, Taylor averaged 18.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists for the Knights. In UCF's 72-71 victory at New Mexico, which snapped a 33-game home non-conference winning streak for the Lobos, he totaled 18 points, five rebounds and four assists. With the Knights trailing by nine with two minutes to play, Taylor scored six points during a 12-2 UCF run to close the contest. He nailed 3-pointer with 35 seconds to go to get UCF within three. On ensuing inbounds, he recorded a steal near midcourt and raced to the basket for a slam dunk to cut the hosts' lead to one. Down two points with four seconds to go, Taylor drove to the basket and dished out to Chris Baez, who nailed the game-winning triple. Sixteen of Taylor's 18 points against the Lobos came after intermission. He began the week with 18 points and five rebounds at Valparaiso. The Knights will return to action on Wednesday at Ole Miss. The squad will then participate in the Cancun Challenge, facing South Dakota State (Saturday) and Morehead State (Sunday) in Mexico.
