TEAM NOTES
- UCF has now won all four games over Memphis since the Knights joined Conference USA in 2005.
- The Knights are now 11-4 in November since joining C-USA.
- UCF improves to 10-6 all-time in C-USA road games.
- UCF's 14 first-quarter points were its most of the season. The Knights are now 19-5 under George O'Leary when leading after the first quarter. It is the fourth-straight week that UCF has led the game after 15 minutes of play.
- UCF's 21 first-half points were its most of the season, edging its 20 last week at Marshall.
- UCF's 21-point lead during the third quarter (28-7) was its largest of the season.
- UCF's 82-yard touchdown drive in the second quarter was its second-longest of the year behind a 91-yard march against Southern Miss on Nov. 8.
- The Knights have at least one interception in 10 of the team's 11 games this year and 18 of the last 19 overall.
- UCF has now scored five non-offensive touchdowns this year. The school record is six set last year.
- UCF has scored first in each of the last four games. In the first seven games, UCF scored first just twice.
- The blocked punt in the first quarter is the third kick that UCF has blocked this year.
- UCF forced Memphis to attempt a punt on its opening drive. The Knights have held their opponents scoreless on their opening drive in 10 out of 11 games this year and 13 of the last 14 overall.
- Today's game-time temperature of 42 degrees ties it with last week's game at Marshall for the third-coldest game for the Knights since UCF joined the FBS in 1996. Impressively for a team of Floridians, UCF is 4-3 when the game-time temperature is below 45 degrees.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
- Joe Burnett's interception was the 16th of his career, extending his own school record and bringing him to within two places of the Conference USA career benchmark of 18. On the runback, he passed teammate Johnell Neal for the school career record in interception return yardage. With his 61 kickoff return yards today, Burnett moved into third place on UCF's seasonal chart with his 687 on the year.
- Redshirt freshman quarterback Joe Weatherford saw his first significant action of the season after only playing previously on Sept. 27 at UTEP.
- Latavius Murray scored his first touchdown since having two on opening day against South Carolina State.
- Ricky Kay's first quarter touchdown catch was the first of his career.
