UCF FOOTBALL POSTGAME NOTES
AT MARSHALL - NOVEMBER 15, 2008
Final Score - UCF 30, Marshall 14

TEAM NOTES
- UCF has now won four-straight games over Marshall after losing each of the first three meetings between the schools. UCF is undefeated vs. Marshall as Conference USA members, but Marshall was perfect vs. UCF as MAC teams.
- The Knights are now 10-4 in November since joining Conference USA.
- UCF improves to 9-6 all-time in C-USA road games.
- The Knights got 196 yards of rushing offense from true freshmen tonight.
- UCF has now scored a touchdown of 50 yards or more in five of its last six games.
- Brynn Harvey is the fourth different freshman to score a touchdown for UCF this year joining Rob Calabrese, Latavius Murray and Ronnie Weaver. This ties for fourth in the nation with Florida State and Northern Illinois. Miami (Fla.) has seen eight different freshmen score a touchdown this year.
- UCF's 10 first-quarter points were its most of the season. The Knights are now 18-5 under George O'Leary when leading after the first quarter. It is the third-straight week that UCF has led the game after 15 minutes of play.
- UCF's 20 first-half points were its most of the season, edging its 19 at Tulsa on Oct. 26.
- After having a streak of 16-consecutive games with an interception snapped last week by Southern Miss, UCF got back to form today. The Knights entered the game tied for eighth in the nation in interceptions with 15 and had two tonight.
- UCF forced Marshall to attempt a punt on its opening drive. The Knights have held their opponents scoreless on their opening drive in nine out of 10 games this year and 12 of the last 13 overall.
- Today's game time temperature of 42 degrees makes this the third-coldest game for the Knights since UCF joined the FBS in 1996 (No. 1 is 33 degrees at Eastern Michigan in 2003). Impressively for a team of Floridians, UCF is 3-3 when the game-time temperature is below 45 degrees.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
- Brynn Harvey's 150 rushing yards today are a career-high and the most by a Knight since Kevin Smith ran for 284 against Tulsa in the 2007 Conference USA Championship Game. It is UCF's second 100-yard rushing effort this year. Ronnie Weaver ran for 123 in the win over SMU on Oct. 4. Harvey's touchdown was the first of his career.
- Nick Cattoi made three field goals tonight. He had made just one previously in his career. A Knight last had three in a game when Michael Torres booted three against Tulsa in the 2007 Conference USA Championship Game.
- John Lubischer's second-quarter touchdown catch was his first career reception overall.
- Joe Burnett's 33 punt return yards tonight move him into 19nd place in NCAA history.
- Sha'reff Rashad's two interceptions tonight give him 14 in his career and move him into sole possession of second place in UCF history and a tie for fourth in C-USA history. The school record of 15 is held by Joe Burnett.
- Latavius Murray's 46 rushing yards were the most of his young career.
