ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF men's golf head coach Nick Clinard announced the Knights' 2009 signing class Friday, and the group consists of three of the premier junior players in the nation. Dominic Bozzelli (Pittsford, N.Y.), Andrew Colvin (Longwood, Fla.) and Reid Martin (Mukilteo, Wash.) all signed National Letters of Intent to play for UCF and will join the program in fall 2009.
"All three of them are very competitive," Clinard said. "They are all dedicated to the sport. Their priorities are focused on school and golf. They want to be coached and I believe that they will help us continue our quest to be a top-10 team in the country."

Ranked 10th nationally and first in New York in the Golfweek/Sagarin junior ratings... earned Rolex Junior All-America honorable mention honors from the American Junior Golf Association in 2008... advanced to the semifinals at the 2008 United States Junior Amateur in Shoal Creek, Ala... posted a 16th-place showing at the 2008 AJGA PING Invitational in Stillwater, Okla... finished second at the 2008 New York State Junior Championships in Oneonta... placed 16th at the AJGA Mizuno Junior at Innisbrook in Palm Harbor, Fla...named the 2008 Rochester Democrat and Chronicle All-Greater Rochester Player of the Year... as a junior, won the individual title at the NYSPHSAA Boys Golf Championship in Ithaca... claimed the 2007 New York State Golf Association Junior Championship and the 2005 New York State Golf Association Boys Championship.

Listed as the 42nd-best player in the country in the Golfweek/Sagarin ratings... finished 11th at the American Junior Golf Association First American Title Junior Classic in 2008 in Tampa... claimed medalist honors at the 2008 South Florida Junior Golf Foundation Memorial Day Classic... in 2007, won the AJGA Taylor Woodrow Junior in North Fort Myers, Fla... finished second behind current Knight Blayne Barber at the 2007 AJGA Birks & Majors Junior Championship in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla... in 2007, placed second at the Future Collegians World Tour event in Orlando... has led Circle Christian to a pair of Florida Class 1A titles... was selected to the Orlando Sentinel All-Central Florida Team as a junior.

Currently ranked 47th nationally in the Golfweek/Sagarin junior ratings... competed for the United States at the 2008 Honda International Junior Golf Championship in Japan... was also a member of the United States team that participated in an event in Scotland in 2007... won the International Junior Golf Tour Western Mid-Season Championship in Phoenix and the Future Collegians World Tour La Cantera Open in San Antonio, Texas, in 2008... finished sixth at the 2008 Washington Junior Golf Association State Championship in Spokane... as a junior, took the title at the Washington High School Class 4A State Championship in Burlington... named a Seattle Post-Intelligencer State All-Star... won a pair of events in 2008 on the Northwest Junior Golf Tour... was the FCWT national champion in 2007 and 2004... earned FCWT All-America First Team honors in 2007 and second team recognition in 2006.

The three golfers will be joining a program that has enjoyed great success under Clinard. The Knights have appeared in the NCAA Regionals in four of the last five years. The squad spent nearly the entire 2007-08 campaign in the top-25 nationally and won a pair of tournaments. UCF is currently the 28th-ranked team in the country.
