ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - With the Knights' fall rowing season coming to a close, so is the construction of the new Intercollegiate Rowing Center, with the final touches set to be in place early next week. Construction to the new rowing facility began last spring and started to really heat up near the end of UCF's 2007-08 season.

For an updated look at the facillity, check out new photos at the link above. The Intercollegiate Rowing Center is designed by HOK Architects and sits on the south shoreline of Lake Pickett, just east of the UCF campus. It features a 12,000-square-foot boathouse with six individual boat bays for the team's rowing shells.

The facility also includes a boathouse and a locker room, as well as a 6,000-square-foot clubhouse that has plenty of room for erg training, meeting rooms and coaches' offices.
