ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Before heading inside Bright House Networks Stadium to watch the Knights host Southern Miss for Homecoming, fans are encouraged to visit Fan Faire at IOA Plaza on Saturday. Plenty of fun activities are planned for the area. Kickoff for the Conference USA game is set for 3:30 p.m.
Tickets for the clash with the Golden Eagles are still available, including a $20 ticket courtesy of SunTrust Banks. To order your tickets today, call Ticketmaster at (407) 839-3900 or visit Ticketmaster.com. Tickets are not available at SunTrust Bank locations.
UCF supporters are urged to wear gold to the game and start a new Homecoming tradition.
Fans attending the game are encouraged to arrive early to not only enjoy the promotions, but to avoid lines entering the stadium. One way to avoid the lines is by utilizing the E-PASS Fast Gate 14. The innovative partnership brings the expertise of the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority together with UCF to help alleviate a common problem at college football games - getting fans through the gates. At gate 14, representatives from the expressway authority will be handing out a limited number of complimentary E-PASS transponders.
SunTrust is serving as the game sponsor for the contest and is offering a special register to win opportunity prior to the game in Fan Faire. One winner will be picked and given the chance to compete on the field during the game for the opportunity to win $5,000 in the SunTrust Throw for the Gold.
Fan Faire will also feature:
• The Buffalo Wild Wings pregame radio show, which broadcasts live on the UCF ISP Sports Network, starting at 1:30 p.m.
• Live entertainment from the Howl at the Moon Saloon
• The Coke Town interactive gaming area
• Free t-shirts and mini-footballs from RaceTrac
• Pizza samples and gift certificates from Domino's Pizza
• Vehicles on display from Holler-Classic
• Gift certificates from Logan's Roadhouse
• Paper fans from Infinity Insurance
• Representatives from Centex Homes offering the chance to win UCF prizes
• Free gift certificates from Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill
• Bright House Networks offering free paper fans
• Premium cupcake gift certificates from Sweet! in Waterford Lakes
Several promotional activities are planned for the concourse areas of the stadium. Representatives from the Orlando Sentinel will be offering free coozies and Progress Energy will distribute paper fans.
