ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - After recently participating in an event in Oklahoma, the UCF men's tennis team will play closer to home this weekend when the Knights compete at the C.L. Varner Memorial Invitational in Winter Park. Six Knights will be in action at the three-day tournament.

Rollins is serving as the host of the event, which will be played at the Bert Martin Tennis Complex, the Tiedtke Tennis Courts and the Azalea Lane Tennis Courts. Other squads competing at the tournament include Florida Gulf Coast and Stetson.

Last week, four UCF players, including junior Johan Beigart (Vaxjo, Sweden), participated in the D'Novo All-American Championship in Tulsa, Okla. Beigart claimed a victory at the tournament.

In Winter Park, Beigart will be joined by senior Tarek Ben Soltane (Tunis, Tunisia), junior Marc Rocafort (Barcelona, Spain), sophomore Blaze Schwartz (Pensacola, Fla.) and freshmen Joe Delinks (Falmouth, Mass.) and Eugene Dolgovykh (Palm Coast, Fla.).

Rocafort will be playing for the first time this fall. Ben Soltane and Dolgovykh both pace the team with five victories this season.

After this weekend's event, the Knights will take two weeks off before hosting the UCF Invitational, which begins on Oct. 31. The tournament, which includes Florida Atlantic, Georgia State and LSU, will serve as UCF's final fall event.
