ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will participate in the "Let's SAAC Hunger" Program as part of a Conference-USA-wide competition to see which school can collect the most canned goods to benefit its local food bank.
Members of the SAAC will be collecting canned foods at all UCF sporting events during the week of Nov. 2-8, with all food being donated to Second Harvest Food Bank.
Fans interested in contributing to the cause can drop their donations off at Bright House Networks Stadium gates No. 5 and No. 14 at the Knights' football games against both East Carolina and Southern Miss, and outside of the UCF Arena during the women's basketball game Nov. 8 and throughout Homecoming events Monday through Wednesday.
The C-USA member school that collects the highest weight of canned foods at the end of the competition will win the coveted Conference Championship Cup.
