ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - This week's edition of UCF Sports Today with George O'Leary will be broadcast Sunday on WESH-2 at noon. The 30-minute television program also airs during the week on Sun Sports and UCF TV.
This week's episode will offer highlights from the Knights' home game against SMU. The game is set for Saturday at 3:30 p.m. and will be broadcast nationally by CBS College Sports. O'Leary and host Pat Clarke will also provide a preview of the Knights' final non-conference game when UCF travels to Miami to play the Hurricanes on Oct. 11 at Dolphins Stadium.
The show's feature story will emphasize the impact that special teams have on the field and the momentum that they can create based on field position. Senior Joe Burnett (Eustis, Fla.) will talk about his playmaking ability as a punt and kick returner. Earlier this year against USF, Burnett scored on a 91-yard kick return becoming the only Knight to record a kick and punt return for a touchdown in his career.
Sun Sports broadcasts the show each Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. The program is also available on UCF TV several times per week. For the UCF TV schedule, visit ucftv.edu.
