ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - This week's edition of UCF SportsKnight, a 30-minute television program about UCF Athletics, will be shown Tuesday at 5 p.m. on Sun Sports. The show, which is hosted by UCF graduate Jeff Sharon, will also air several times on UCF TV.
The episode will look into the weekly preparations that are made by the UCF spirit team. Head coach Linda Gooch will be on the set to talk about the team's workouts and activities that the squad participates in each week.
Junior Yvonne George (Winter Springs, Fla.) of the women's soccer team will also be featured during the show. George's sister Stacey played with the Knights from 2004-06. The two sisters were teammates during the 2006 season. Currently, George is among the leading scorers for the Knights.
Each week, UCF SportsKnight airs highlights from the past week in UCF Athletics, including the top three plays of the week.
A look back on the best plays from the past month will be showcased in the first SportsKnight highlight. Local area artist SugarFreeMusic and their song Brand New Day will be featured in the highlight reel.
