AT BOSTON COLLEGE SEPTEMBER 20, 2008

TEAM NOTES - The Knights have now intercepted a pass in each of the last 11 games.
- UCF has held its opponents out of the end zone in the first half of three of its last four games (today, S.C. State and AutoZone Liberty Bowl vs. Mississippi State).
- UCF's starting secondary of Joe Burnett, Johnell Neal, Sha'reff Rashad and Jason Venson now boasts a combined 146 career starts.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
- Brian Watters' six catches tied a career high set last season against Marshall.
- Lawrence Young's third quarter interception was the second of his career. Both have come on the road against ACC foes once coached by Tom O' Brien with the other coming on Sept. 1, 2007 in UCF's 25-23 win at N.C. State.
- Johnell Neal's third quarter interception was the 10th of his UCF career, moving him into third place on the school's career chart.
- Michael Greco's 44-yard second quarter scamper was a career long and the longest run by a UCF quarterback since Steven Moffett had a 55-yard scoring scamper against Marshall on Nov. 19, 2003 at the Citrus Bowl.
- Jason Venson's second quarter interception was the eighth of his UCF career, tying him for sixth in school history with a group that includes former New England Patriot Asante Samuel.
- True freshman Rob Calabrese made his collegiate debut during the second quarter.
- Michael Greco's first quarter interception thrown was his first of the year, coming on his 53rd passing attempt. UCF entered today as one of 15 teams which had not seen a pass intercepted this season.
- Wide receiver Richard Jackson saw his first action as a Knight today. Jackson transferred from Notre Dame this summer and was declared eligible to play immediately by the NCAA on Sept. 5 when he received a one-time transfer exception waiver due to personal hardships which have led him to transfer closer to his home of Clermont, Fla. He made his first career reception in the third quarter after only playing on special teams at Notre Dame in 2006 and sitting out the 2007 campaign.
- Brandon Davis had his first career receptions in the contest.
- Patrick Brown started his 41st consecutive game at left tackle today, the most starts at that position of anyone in the nation.
- Cody Minnich made his second career start today as UCF's right guard. His other career start was as a tight end on Sept. 26, 2006 against Southern Miss.
