ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - After enjoying a bye weekend, the UCF football team returns to game week as it prepares to travel to Boston College for a 1 p.m. kickoff Saturday on ESPNU. The Knights will bring a three-game road winning streak into Massachusetts, which is tied for the longest in program history.

The Black and Gold opened the 2008 season with a pair of home games, defeating South Carolina State, 17-0, before dropping a 31-24 overtime decision to USF. Quarterback Michael Greco is a combined 26-for-48 with two touchdowns and no interceptions so far this year. Meanwhile, Joe Burnett has sparked the special teams with a 22.0 yard punt return average and a 45.0 average on kick returns, including one 91-yard touchdown scamper vs. the Bulls.
On the defensive side of the ball, UCF had 11 tackles for loss against USF with two interceptions and five hurries. Lawrence Young leads the way with 13 takedowns and 4.5 tackles for loss.
Boston College also earned some rest with a bye last weekend. The Eagles got the year underway with a 21-0 shutout of Kent State at Cleveland Browns Stadium, then suffered a 19-16 setback at home vs. Georgia Tech. In the loss, the Yellow Jackets outscored the Eagles, 9-0, for the comeback victory.
BC has outgained its opponents 598-495 and has four fumble recoveries with two picks. Senior quarterback Chris Crane is averaging 124 yards in the air, but has thrown two interceptions compared to one touchdown. On the ground, four different rushers have amassed at least 59 yards, led by freshman Josh Haden with 101 yards. Over on defense, junior linebacker Mark Herzlich already has 21 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble.
