ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - The UCF Student-Athlete Advisory Committee has arranged a fundraiser to sell "UCF Knights" wristbands in hopes of raising money for the Central Florida Children's Home. Bands will be on sale for $2 each at all UCF home football, volleyball and select soccer games.
Fans will be able to buy wristbands at Memory Mall, Gold Zone Parking lots, volleyball-concourse levels, tailgating areas and the UCF Soccer Complex. Wristbands will begin to go on sale at this weekend's home football game against USF at 7 p.m.
With the 2008 football season already underway, students, fans, faculty and alumni can continue to show their support by purchasing one of these colorful bands. Not only will you be able to show your school spirit, you can do it for a good cause. The funds collected from the fundraiser will go towards a new computer for the CFCH, as well as provide the organization with other essentials.
