E-PASS Fast Gate 14 To Debut at Bright House Networks Stadium on Saturday

Aug. 28, 2008

ORLANDO, Fla. - UCF and E-PASS are teaming up to provide a faster way for fans to get to their seats this year at Bright House Networks Stadium. Fans are encouraged to use the new E-PASS Fast Gate 14. UCF will have extra staff on hand for security checks and to process tickets to get fans into the stadium as quickly as possible. This innovative partnership brings the expertise of the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority together with UCF to help alleviate a common problem at college football games - getting fans through the gates.

"We are happy to have E-PASS as part of our game-day team," UCF Athletic Director Keith Tribble said. "UCF fans will be able to get to their seats faster through this partnership."

"Just as the community recognizes the convenience of E-PASS lanes on our toll roads, fans can take advantage of the same ease entering the stadium by using the E-PASS Fast Gate," said Expressway Authority Executive Director Mike Snyder.

UCF opens its season this Saturday at 6:00 p.m. against South Carolina State. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. and fans are encouraged to use E-PASS Fast Gate 14 to gain faster access to the stadium. The gate is located in the southeast corner of Bright House Networks Stadium, closest to lots E6, E7 and those adjacent to UCF Softball Stadium.

With E-PASS you get there sooner, saving time and money. You can pay tolls at highway speeds and earn frequent user discounts. With its inception in 1994 - today, more than 470,000 Central Florida residents have E-PASS. It's the better, safer, faster way to travel throughout Orlando.

Tickets remain for the home-opening UCF vs. South Carolina State game presented by Metro PCS and can be purchased as part of a 2-for-1 special by calling Ticketmaster at (407) 839-3900 or by going to UCFAthletics.com.
