ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - The UCF Athletics Association was recently recognized by the Orlando Sentinel as one of the Top 100 Companies for Working Families in Central Florida.
A panel of human resources experts compiled the list, considering several factors, including health and insurance benefits, family-related benefits, work environment, training and communication.
The UCF Athletics Association has 145 full-time employees.
"This recognition reflects the dedication of our employees and the leadership of the organization," Brian Reed, UCFAA's assistant athletics director for human resources and risk management said. "Our leadership, starting with director of athletics Keith Tribble, places an emphasis on creating a healthy work culture for employees."
The top 100 list is coordinated each year by the Orlando Sentinel's marketing department and is sponsored by Workforce Central Florida.
