ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - Isaac McKinnon became a key contributor for the Knights during the 1982-83 campaign. During Torchy Clark's final campaign as UCF's head coach, McKinnon had a solid season in the post.

The 6-foot-8 center made 25 starts and averaged 6.6 points and 5.9 rebounds.

The following season as a senior, McKinnon thrived under new head coach Chuck Machock. He started all 28 contests for the Knights and averaged 11.1 points and 7.2 boards. A standout on the defensive end, he blocked 59 shots that season, a mark that ranks second on the school's single-season register.

McKinnon, who shot 52.5 percent from the floor, earned a spot on the All-Sunshine State Second Team following the year.

A native of Hilliard, Fla., which is located north of Jacksonville, he is third all-time at UCF with 106 swats. McKinnon also ranks seventh in career field goal percentage (54.0).

Season tickets for the Knights' 2008-09 campaign at the new UCF Arena are expected to go on sale soon. UCF won 12 contests a year ago in its inaugural season at the state-of-the-art facility.
