ORLANDO, Fla. (www.UCFAthletics.com) - Come on out to the UCF campus and Bright House Networks Stadium this Sunday afternoon, Aug. 17, to purchase your new season tickets for UCF football and to take part in the new season ticket holder select-a-seat event between 1-6 p.m. Great seats in the priority sections are still available. Plese meet the ticket sales staff in the lobby of the Roth Tower on the west side of the stadium to help get you on board for the 2008 season.
While on campus, stop by and catch the team practice from 2:20-4:30 p.m. at the practice fields, followed by the best chance this fall to meet, greet and take photos with your entire 2008 Knights football team at their annual fall picture day in the west concourse at Bright House Networks Stadium between 4:30-6 p.m.
There is no admission charge and parking is free in lots E6, E7 and E8 around the stadium. The UCF campus Barnes & Noble Bookstore will be on site to provide additional items to get signed by the student-athletes and coaches, as well as the new 2008 Football Yearbook. Boston Culinary Group will also staff concessions in the gate 17 lot. The 2008 football schedule poster and schedule cards will also be available for free, courtesy of the UCF Athletics Sports Marketing Office.
UCF's season opener is slated for Aug. 30 at 6 p.m. against South Carolina State at Bright House Networks Stadium. The Knights will play six contests at home in 2008, including games against rivals East Carolina, Southern Miss and USF.
At Sunday's event, UCF ticket sales representatives will be on hand to assist in guaranteeing your seats to this year's exciting home slate. Additionally, members from the Golden Knights Club will be available to provide further details on becoming proud supporters of UCF Athletics.
Season tickets for UCF's 2008 football campaign at Bright House Networks Stadium are currently available by calling the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at 407-UCF-1000.
