ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - Interested student-athletes wishing to learn more about the UCF rowing program are invited to attend an informational meeting Aug. 28. The session will take place in the student union and get underway at 7 p.m.
Potential rowers do not need past experience to join the Knights. UCF has a novice program for first-year members with tryouts lasting two weeks. Approximately 75 members may make up the team, and the 2008-09 season will likely begin in October.
