Orlando, Fla. (www.UCFAthletics.com) - Season tickets for the 2008 UCF football season will be shipped, First-Class U.S. Postal, starting Monday, July 28. The shipping is being handled by contracted ticket printer Weldon, Williams and Lick. The company will coordinate the shipping from Fort Smith, Ark.
Knights' season ticket holders will again this year have access to Ticketmaster's Ticket Forwarding and TeamExchange program. Ticket Forwarding allows season ticket holders to maximize use of their tickets by forwarding tickets they are unable to use to another consumer electronically, including being able to donate their unused tickets to charity. TeamExchange creates an online marketplace for season subscribers to re-sell their unused tickets. For more information on either of these products, visit www.ucfathletics.com.
The defending Conference USA champion Knights host six action-packed home games in 2008, including match-ups with rivals Southern Miss, East Carolina and USF. UCF will open the season Aug. 30 with South Carolina State.
A week later, USF comes to Orlando for an ESPN2 nationally-televised game on Sept. 6. New SMU head coach June Jones brings the Mustangs to Bright House Networks Stadium for Family Weekend/College Open House on Oct. 4.
The Knights will entertain C-USA East rival East Carolina on Sunday night, Nov. 2, in a contest to be aired nationally on ESPN. The following week, Nov. 8, UCF hosts Southern Miss on homecoming. The regular season concludes with UAB on Saturday, Nov. 29.
Season tickets are still available, with seats starting at just $210. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ucfathletics.com or by calling the Ticket Office at 407-823-1000.
