NEW ORLEANS, La. (www.ucfathletics.com) - After arriving at the ballpark at 11 a.m. ET Thursday, the UCF baseball team waited until 9:40 p.m. ET until its game vs. Tulane was postponed to Friday. The No. 7 seed Knights were looking to face off vs. the No. 3 seed Green Wave in an elimination game of the 2008 Entergy Conference USA Championship, but continuous rain forced the game to move to Friday with first pitch slated at 10 a.m. ET.
UCF opened the tournament with an 8-5 loss to No. 2 Southern Miss May 21. Box scores of every game and an updated schedule of the event can be found at www.conferenceusa.com.
