UCF Baseball Practice at Zephyr Field Photo Gallery
NEW ORLEANS, La. (www.ucfathletics.com) - A renewed energy advanced onto the UCF baseball team as it traveled to New Orleans Monday morning for the 2008 Entergy Conference USA Championship Wednesday-Sunday. The Knights immediately went to work by spending a couple of hours at Zephyr Field, the home of the Triple-A New Orleans Zephyrs, for an afternoon practice.

No. 7 UCF opens the tournament Wednesday at 5 p.m. ET vs. No. 2 Southern Miss. Junior RHP Kyle Sweat (5-4, 4.91 ERA) is slated to meet up with fellow junior RHP Josh Billeaud (3-4, 7.35 ERA) on the mound. All games this week will be played at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium, home of the Tulane Green Wave.
