ORLANDO - The UCF rowing team announced this week that it has added a regatta to the 2008 schedule. The Knights' lightweight 8+ boat will travel to Cambridge, Mass., to face off with MIT and Radcliffe this Saturday morning.
UCF enters the weekend with its varsity lightweight squad ranked at No. 5 in the country. However, its race with MIT and Radcliffe will be one of the most challenging of the season. MIT sits at No. 10 in the national rankings, while Radcliffe holds down the No. 3 position.
Saturday's race will get underway at approximately 9:24 a.m. on the Charles River.
