Orlando, Fla. (www.UCFAthletics.com) - The second season of UCF football at Bright House Networks Stadium kicks off on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008 when the Knights host South Carolina State. Tens of thousands of UCF students witnessed the Knights run to the 2007 Conference USA Championship and once again the student body will have two options to see UCF defend its league title in 2008.
UCF Athletics and the Student Government Association invite all current UCF students who will be enrolled for the 2008 fall semester to sign up for student season tickets. The ticket plans are now on sale for the same low cost of $72 for the complete six-game home schedule in 2008. You must be a current student who will be enrolled this fall and have a valid student ID card to participate.
Students can purchase tickets in person at the athletics ticket office located at Bright House Networks Stadium or by calling the ticket office at 407-UCF-1000. Students can also access information and an order form online at www.knighttickets.com.
Those students wishing to not purchase season tickets can also share in the excitement of UCF football by registering for single-game tickets via a student lottery prior to each home game. Additional lottery information will be available Aug. 1. A complete overview of the lottery can be found on the internat at www.knighttickets.com.
