MARCHING STRONG
The Knights posted a 6-3 record in the month of March. Five UCF players finished with at least six singles victories, with freshman Claudio Romano (Valencia, Venezuela) leading the way with eight.

On March 11, UCF also earned the 72nd ranking in the ITA poll. While the Knights were ranked, the squad went on to defeat Montana State and Cal Poly.

The Knights also knocked off their first ranked opponent in No. 51 Tennessee Tech, 5-2.

FINDING A NICHE
Junior Brock Sakey (Gulf Breeze, Fla./Gulf Breeze) and sophomore Johan Beigart (Vaxjo, Sweden) have found their niche at the No. 2 doubles spot.

After struggling with a 3-5 record at No. 1, the duo has posted an 8-1 mark at court two. Sakey and Beigart have registered victories against No. 51 Tennessee Tech, No. 57 UC Irvine and most recently, 36th-ranked South Florida.

YOUNG LEADER
Despite being just a freshman, Romano is leading the Knights in singles action with 11 victories. The Venezuela native has won nine consecutive-singles matches, all coming at the No. 5 spot. He has knocked off No. 51 Tennessee Tech's Juan Pablo Gomez, 57th-ranked UC Irvine's Stephen Stege and No. 44 Denver's Andrew Landwerlen.

Romano and senior Sinan Sudas (Adana, Turkey) have taken seven doubles victories, four of them coming at the No. 1 position.
