April 8, 2008

ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - Fans who are unable to attend the UCF football spring game this Saturday will be able to follow all of the action at Bright House Networks Stadium as the contest will be aired live on the UCF ISP Sports Network and 740 AM in Orlando. Coverage of the Knights' inaugural spring game at the on-campus stadium is slated to begin at 2 p.m.

UCF's radio team of Marc Daniels, Gary Parris, Jerry O'Neill and Scott Adams will be on hand at Bright House Networks Stadium to not only call the action on the field, but also to provide analysis of the 2008 Knights. The broadcast will also include interviews with UCF head coach George O'Leary, selected players and members of the UCF Athletics Hall of Fame 2008 class.

On Saturday, coverage will begin at 2 p.m. with the hour-long UCF Spring Show. The program will include a preview of the game and interviews with O'Leary and several Knights. Two hours of spring game coverage will start at 3 p.m.

The broadcast will also be available online at www.ucfathletics.com.

Tickets to the spring game are available at www.ucfathletics.com and at the UCF box office at Bright House Networks Stadium.

The spring game is part of the UCF Hall of Fame Weekend. The festivities begin on Friday night with the 2008 UCF Athletics Hall of Fame dinner at the stadium. Following the spring game on Saturday, members of the UCF football team will sign autographs for fans in the stadium's east concourse.

After the spring game, Daniels will broadcast UCF's Conference USA baseball tilt with Memphis live on 740 AM from Jay Bergman Field. Fans who attend the spring game will receive free admission to the baseball contest.
