Orlando, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - Due to inclement weather hitting the Gainesville area, the UCF softball versus No. 5 Florida match-up has be cancelled. A make-up date for the contest has yet to be determined.
The rain-out marks the second time in consecutive years that the contest between the Knights and the Gators has be cancelled.
The Black and Gold opens Conference USA action Saturday, when they take on East Carolina for a three-game series at the UCF Softball Complex. The first game of the series is scheduled for 1 p.m.
