ORLANDO - UCF staff is hard at work with last-minute preparations to Jay Bergman Field as it gets ready for Opening Day Friday. Check out this photo gallery, which includes shots of the new scoreboard, to get into the baseball mood before heading to The Berg this weekend.
The updated scoreboard was tested Thursday afternoon, and the video board will soon follow in March.
UCF wrapped up its third and final week of practices Thursday afternoon, and now turns its attention towards Opening Day and Florida A&M. The Knights and Rattlers tangle Friday at 6:30 p.m., while they also do battle Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m.
UCF's weekend wraps around to Monday where it also faces No. 6 Missouri at 3 p.m. The Tigers will be the third-highest ranked team to visit Jay Bergman Field since it was constructed in 2001.
