LAKELAND, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - UCF women's basketball signee Aisha Patrick (pronounced ASIA) and Rockledge High School will compete in the Florida High School Athletics Association Final Four this Thursday at the Lakeland Center in Lakeland, Fla.
Patrick (Rockledge, Fla.), a 5-foot-10 guard, has led her team to its first Final Four appearance since the 1977 campaign. Patrick's Rockledge team (23-3) squares off with top-seeded Pensacola High School (26-0) on Thursday at 4 p.m. in the Lakeland Center in the Class 4A State Semifinals. The winner will advance to Saturday's championship game, which is slated to commence at 3:30 p.m.
Patrick is the reigning Florida Today Space Coast Player of the Week after charting a triple-double in the team's 72-57 regional final win against Boynton Beach last Saturday. Patrick had 24 points, 11 rebounds, 11 steals and eight assists in the victory.
On the season, Patrick is averaging 19.3 points per game and 6.0 steals per game. She has also averaged 11.0 rebounds per game over the team's three regional playoff games. Patrick was a first-team all-Space Coast selection last season, as decided by Florida Today. She also was nominated for the McDonald's High School All-America Team this season.

Take Interstate 4 West to exit 31 (Kathleen Road). At the traffic light at the end of the off ramp turn left on Kathleen Road. Continue on Kathleen Road to Sikes Boulevard. Bear right at the yield sign and turn right at the second traffic light (Lime Street). The Lakeland Center will be on your right.
