ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - After falling to No. 26 Miami last Friday, 6-1, the UCF men's tennis team is looking forward to traveling to Hattiesburg, Miss. to compete in the Conference USA Shootout.
The four-team tournament starts on Friday and ends on Sunday.

DEADLY DUO
Juniors Tarek Ben Soltane (Tunis, Tunisia) and Danny Colon (Jacksonville, Fla./Englewood) are 2-0 this season in doubles play. After knocking off Bethune-Cookman's duo, the pair took an 8-7(4) win against Miami's Keith Crowley and Hector Nieto at No. 3.
The two never played together before the start of this spring season.
LAST ONE STANDING IN SHOOTOUT
The Knights will be traveling to the C-USA Shootout for the first time after hosting the tournament at the UCF Tennis Complex in 2006 and 2007. UCF is all-time 6-0 in the event. The Knights open the tournament against Southern Miss on Friday at 2 p.m. EST in Hattiesburg, Miss at the Hattiesburg Racquet Club. UAB and East Carolina are also playing in the conference event.
