The event features eight teams that are currently listed in the top-25 of the Golfstat national rankings. The Knights are 21st, while Charlotte (2) Alabama (3) and UCLA (4) all rank in the top-5. The remaining top-25 teams are: Florida (10), Tennessee (12), South Carolina (14) and Indiana (20).

The UNCG Bridgestone Collegiate Championship was the final tournament of the fall campaign for the Knights. Junior Greg Forest (Palm City, Fla./Martin County) led the squad to the third place finish with a total score of 212 (-4). He finished third in the individual standings.

In addition to Forest, seniors Chris Anderson (Lake Mary, Fla./Seminole) and David Johnson (Palm Bay, Fla./Melbourne), junior Preston Brown (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla./Nease) and sophomore Mike Stern (Miami, Fla./Killian) will be in action for UCF.
