"Heading into this weekend, we are looking to continue breaking school records and PRs in every area of the program," UCF head coach Caryl Smith Gilbert said. "Competing at Nebraska, we will be facing some great competition from the Midwest and the South. It will be a good opportunity for us to face some new competition and get us ready to go to Arkansas and North Carolina in two weeks."
Since beginning the season, the Knights have shattered eight school records and athletes have accomplished numerous personal-best times and marks. Freshman Lizzie Harris (Miami, Fla.), who has set or tied six school records since beginning collegiate competition, ranks first in Conference USA in both the 200-meter dash and the high jump.
