ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - The UCF men's basketball team will continue its busy stretch to end the month on Sunday, hosting the New Jersey Institute of Technology in the opening round of the UCF Holiday Classic. Tip-off at the new UCF Arena is set for 3:30 p.m.

Long Island and Texas-Pan Am will open the event on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Knights were in action on Friday and came up just short against traditional power Connecticut, falling 85-82 in front of a school-record 6,224 fans at the new UCF Arena.

In its fourth year, the UCF Holiday Classic will conclude on Monday. The consolation game is slated for 1 p.m. on Monday, followed by the title contest at 3:30 p.m.

Tickets for the tournament can be purchased on gamedays at the new UCF Arena box office.

Season ticket packages are still available by calling 407-UCF-1000. UCF students are admitted free to all home basketball games with a valid school ID.
