Orlando, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - A travel party of more than 100 UCF football players and administrators left for Memphis on Wednesday morning following a brief practice at the Nicholson Fieldhouse. The Knights spent a little more than an hour fine-tuning their game plan for the 49th-annual AutoZone Liberty Bowl before departing for the host city where the team will spend three days prior to Saturday's kickoff.

Upon arrival in Memphis, the Knights will head straight to the University of Memphis football complex for another brief practice session to get acclimated to their new surroundings. The temperature difference between Orlando and Memphis was around 25 degrees on Monday morning as the team left a climate in the low 60's for one where the high on Monday was expected to reach around the 50-degree mark.

Besides their second practice session of the day, bowl activities for the team during their first day in the Bluff City will include a press conference for both head coaches as UCF"s George O'Leary and Mississippi State's Sylvester Croom will meet with the media together for the first time. Croom and the Bulldogs opted to spend the Christmas Holiday in Memphis and have been in town since Sunday.

A welcome party at Jillian's is also on the docket where the Knights will mingle with fans, media and their opponent for Saturday's clash - the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

After enjoying a couple hours of food and fun at the downtown restaurant, the Knights have the option to attend a National Basketball Association contest between the home-standing Memphis Grizzlies and the visiting New Orleans Hornets.

The Knights will have a full schedule of bowl activities during their time in Memphis, check back daily at the AutoZone Liberty Bowl Central on the www.ucfathletics.com page for updates, photo galleries and much more information on the Knights' trip in Memphis.
