Winter Park, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - Freshman guard D'Nay Daniels (Atlanta, Ga.) scored a game-high 22 points, the most of her career, as the UCF women's basketball team downed Southeastern Louisiana, 90-68, at Warden Arena Saturday night. The Knights (5-5) had four players score in double-digits and shot .548 overall in the contest.

Jelisa Caldwell (Macon, Ga.) had a career-high 16 points, while Tia Lewis (Poulan, Ga.) and Emma Cannon (Rochester, N.Y.) added 13 and 10 points, respectively. Cannon also had a game-high 13 rebounds against the Lions for her fifth double-double of the season.

For the contest, Daniels was 9-for-17 from the field, while Caldwell made four three-pointers and was 6-for-8 from the field.

An 8-2 run by the Knights at the end of the first half gave them a 46-34 advantage heading into the locker room, with Lewis scoring 11 of her 13 points in the opening period.

UCF opened the second half that same way it ended the first - on an 8-2 run, and never looked back. With just over four minutes to play in the game, a three-pointer by Angelica Mealing (Decatur, Ga.) gave the Knights a 29-point lead, their largest of the contest.

Mealing had a career-high six assists in the win as UCF finished the contest with a season-best 24 assists.
