Orlando, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - The UCF football team begins a two-game road swing this Saturday in Birmingham as the Knights will face UAB in a Conference USA East Division match-up. The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be televised nationally on CSTV and live streaming will also be available at www.ucfathletics.com.

UCF (6-3, 4-1 C-USA) has won the previous four meetings between the two teams, including both since making the transition to Conference USA prior to the 2005 season.

The Knights enter the contest with a three-game winning streak, all in league action, while the Blazers (2-7, 1-4 C-USA) are on a current three-game losing skid since defeating Tulane, 26-21, on Oct. 13. UCF is averaging 41.7 ppg during the streak and lead the league with a 43.8 ppg average in its five C-USA games this season.

Helping that cause is the Knights' rushing attack that has churned out 1,971 yards in nine games and 27 of the team's 40 touchdowns have come via the ground. Junior Kevin Smith leads the nation with 19 total touchdowns and his 18 rushing scores are tied for the league lead.

The game will be televised nationally on CSTV. Jonathan Coachman will have the play-by-play, while former St. Louis Rams' tight end Roland Williams will serve as the analyst.

In the Sunshine State, the contest can be heard on the UCF-ISP Sports Network and its flagship station, WQTM 740-AM in Orlando. Network affiliates include WMMV 1350-AM (Cocoa), WDCF 1350-AM (Dade City), WORD 1340-AM (Daytona Beach), WMMB 1240-AM (Melbourne), WLVJ 1040-AM/WKAT 1360-AM (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, South Palm Beach County), WPSL 1590-AM (Treasure Coast, North Palm Beach County) and WZHR-1400-AM (Zephyrhills).

Marc Daniels will provide the play-by-play, Gary Parris will have the analysis and Jerry O'Neill will man the sidelines for the UCF broadcast. Scott Adams is the studio host.

The Knights remain on the road the following Saturday at SMU before returning home to Bright House Networks Stadium for their final regular season home game on Nov. 24 vs. UTEP.
