George O'Leary Call-in Show At Buffalo Wild Wings This Thursday

Nov. 29, 2007

ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - This week's George O'Leary Call-in Show is set for its usual time and location this Thursday from 6-7 p.m. at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Waterford Lakes. It will be the first call-in show for O'Leary since being named the 2007 Conference USA Coach of the Year earlier this week.

The live radio show will feature a preview of one of the Knights' biggest games in program history: the 2007 C-USA Championship Game. East Division champion UCF will host West Division title holder Tulsa Saturday at noon at Bright House Networks Stadium. The rumble between the Knights and the Golden Hurricane will be televised live by ESPN.

Great seats to this Saturday's C-USA Football Championship showdown vs. Tulsa can be purchased through Ticketmaster by calling (407) 839-3900 or by going online at UCFAthletics.com.

UCF and Tulsa have met already this year, a 44-23 Knights' victory on Oct. 20 in Orlando. The two programs tangled in the first C-USA Championship game in 2005 when the Golden Hurricane posted a 44-27 win at the Florida Citrus Bowl.

Saturday's clash will feature the two student-athletes who shared this year's C-USA Offensive Player of the Year honors (selected by the media) as UCF running back Kevin Smith and Tulsa quarterback Paul Smith split the votes. Kevin Smith has rushed for over 100 yards a league record 11 times this year, while Paul Smith has passed for over 300 yards in each game this season.

The show airs live on the UCF-ISP Sports Network and its flagship station WQTM - 740 The Team. Fans can call the show at 407-916-8255 or 1-800-729-8255 to ask the coach questions.

The George O'Leary Call-In Show is hosted by UCF's play-by-play voice Marc Daniels.
