Bright House Networks Signs On As Title Sponsor For 2007 C-USA Football Championship

IRVING, Texas -- Conference USA Commissioner Britton Banowsky announced today that Bright House Networks has entered into an agreement to be the title sponsor for the league's 2007 Football Championship Game. This year's game will be played on Saturday,December 1 at Bright House Networks Stadium on the campus of the University of Central Florida, and will be aired on ESPN. Kick-off time will be Noon EST.

The third annual Conference USA Football Championship will feature UCF and the University of Tulsa. The Knights earned the right to host this year's game by posting the best conference record (7-1) and earning the East Division title. Tulsa won the West Division title with a 6-2 conference mark. The game is a rematch of the inaugural C-USA Football Championship in 2005.

Bright House Networks Stadium sprawls over 25 acres, seats 45,301 and serves as the crown jewel of the schools' burgeoning Athletics Village located on the north end of campus. The Bright House Networks Stadium is part of a $60 million project that included financing costs, reserve requirements, infrastructure, roads, parking and practice fields for football, soccer and baseball. The stadium's west side features the four-level Roth Tower, which includes 24 luxury suites accessible by private elevator.
