Kevin Smith carried the ball a school-record 46 times for 219 yards in UCF's 36-20 win over UTEP at Bright House Networks Stadium. With the win, the Knights secured the Conference USA East Division title. Smith added a touchdown run in the victory. The junior currently leads the nation in rushing with 2,164 yards. In the win over the Miners, he became the first back in the state of Florida to eclipse the 2,000-yard mark for a season. On Saturday, UCF will host Tulsa in the C-USA Championship Game.
