ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - Attending UCF men's basketball games has its perks. Just ask Dale Matejka.
On Saturday at halftime of the UCF-UTEP football game at Bright House Networks Stadium, Matejka was selected as the winner of a special UCF edition Mazda CX-9, courtesy of Classic Mazda.
Prior to the start of the basketball season, the UCF Athletics Association partnered with Classic Mazda for a unique promotion. UCF fans that purchased two season tickets for the inaugural campaign at the new UCF Arena were automatically entered into a drawing to win the Mazda CX-9.
Classic Mazda is located on 2075 North Semoran Boulevard in Orlando.
The Knights are 2-0 at the new facility this season. UCF opened the campaign with a 63-60 win over national power Nevada on Nov. 11.
UCF will play tomorrow at the Old Spice Classic in nearby Lake Buena Vista versus Penn State. The 11 a.m. contest will be televised live nationally on ESPNU.
The Knights' next home game is slated for Wednesday against Presbyterian. UCF still has 14 home contests remaining in 2007-08.
