Orlando, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - With Thanksgiving on Thursday, the George O'Leary call-in show will air on Tuesday this week, moving up two days from its usual time slot. The show will remain at Buffalo Wild Wings in Waterford Lakes and at its customary 6 p.m. start time.
The fourth-year coach and host Marc Daniels will have plenty to talk about this week as the Knights are one win away from clinching the Conference USA East Division title for the second time in three seasons.
The Knights bring a five-game winning streak into their final regular season home game of the season at Bright House Networks Stadium. With a victory over UTEP, the Knights would host the league title game on Sat., Dec. 1 at their new on-campus venue.
Kickoff for Saturday's Senior Day clash with the Miners is set for 2 p.m. This will be the first meeting between the two schools on the gridiron. After their game with the Miners, the Knights will have played the 11 other members of Conference USA. UCF currently has 16 wins since joining the league in 2005, which is tied for the most by the five newcomers who joined the league prior to that season. Tulsa also has 16 wins.
The radio show airs live on the UCF-ISP Sports Network and its flagship station WQTM - 740 The Team. Fans can call the show at 407-916-8255 or 1-800-729-8255 to ask the coach questions.
