ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - Two lucky UCF men's basketball season ticket holders are still in the running for a special UCF edition Mazda CX-9, courtesy of Classic Mazda. Dale Matejka and Tim Morehead are the finalists for the vehicle, which will be awarded during halftime of the UCF-UTEP football game at Bright House Networks Stadium on Nov. 24.
Prior to the start of the basketball season, the UCF Athletics Association partnered with Classic Mazda for a unique promotion. UCF fans that purchased two season tickets for the inaugural campaign at the new UCF Arena were automatically entered into a drawing to win the Mazda CX-9.
The finalists for the crossover SUV were announced on Thursday night by Marc Daniels during the George O'Leary Call-In Show on the UCF ISP Sports Network.
The Knights opened the regular season at home on Sunday, recording a 63-60 win over national power Nevada.
Classic Mazda is located on 2075 North Semoran Boulevard in Orlando.
The contest is now over, but season tickets are still available by calling 407-UCF-1000.
The Knights, who went 22-9 overall last year, return to the hardwood on Friday, hosting Norfolk State at 7 p.m.
