Kevin Smith rushed 41 times for 320 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Knights to a 45-31 Conference USA victory at UAB. The junior broke the UCF single-season rushing mark in the opening quarter with a 20-yard run and finished the contest with a single-game school record of 320 yards. He now has 1,768 yards on the season. His 320-yard total against the Blazers was the third highest in the Football Bowl Subdivison this year. Smith and the Knights will play at SMU on Saturday.
