Women's Tennis Concludes Fall Season at FSU Invitational

ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - The third and final event of the fall season is on tap for the UCF women's tennis team this weekend, as the Knights are preparing to travel to Tallahassee for the Florida State Invitational Friday-Sunday.

UCF has already taken part in the Rollins College C.L. Varner Memorial Invitational and the ITA Southern Regionals this season. As a team, the Knights have a combined 22-14 singles record and are 9-5 in doubles play. Freshman Jenny Frisell leads the way with a 5-1 singles mark, while senior Jennifer Carati owns a 4-2 record. The duo also has teamed up in doubles, where they are 4-1.

After the event, UCF will not compete again until Jan. 19-21 when it visits Ft. Myers for the Florida Gulf Coast Tournament. The Knights' first dual match will be at Florida Jan. 24.
